work?

I didnt know Stony Brook was one of the best hospitals in NY. Its a state hosp and also Univ hospital which means empleyado kami ng State, and since teaching hospital siya, may residente kami.

hindi ako nag icu...ayoko mag sponge ng pasyente sa gabi. I'm at a telemetry unit and probably the toughest floor in the hospital.

I'm sure one way or another you'll like working here kasi, aside from being an employee of the state, marami kaming ex-phc na ka-batch mo or naabutan mo sa PHC nung bago ka pa. Like Weng Inson and Vic Navarra, nandiyan din si Shela and Jimbo, si Robert Muhi, Myla Pecson ng OR, Alona Eje of OR is getting married and is moving to California, Grace Calixto and hubby just moved down to Tenessee. Si Hil nasa Jersey pero wiorks in NY City.

san jacinto methodist hospital

great to hear about your work and the hospital you're at. i still know some of the people you mentioned working in your hospital. well, i am still here in san jacinto methodist hospital, a sister hospital of methodist medical center in down town houston. currently bottomigned in icu-ccu dept. with a bed capacity of 24 . although we have interesting cases here, we don't cater to open heart surgery like other hospitals do in houston. we do aggressive procedures but usually transfer pt to medical center in houston for higher level of care. there are quite a number of heart center people working there in houston and i am considering of transfering there also. well, i guess i have said enough about my work. hope to hear from you again.o:):)s

X-men

The beauty of working here is the support group of Pinoys that are ex-PHC. Lahat ng get together namin kami-kami nag kikita. For example, every summer, we all go camping. Nagkikita din kami at work. Its nice to see a familiar face, one you've known since 1992 diba? what about seeing several familiar faces? Dito they do bypbottomes, Si Rose and Robert Muhi work at the CT-ICU where fresh cases are being done and then wheeled off to Rose's unit. Reggie Cauba who has been with Rose and Robert has decided to moved won to your neck of the woods in Texas, somewhere in a place called Hidalgo. At the MICU-CCU, Shela and Victor work the night shift, while Weng is their evening Clinician. so let us know when you've decided to come here so we can make preparations for you to visit the place andfor a place for you to stay. Lady macapanpan and Merimer Gebusion came here last year.

hospitals and units

I've worked so many hospitals and units here in Los Angeles and jst like all of u guys i got tired of doing weekends, titrating drips, correcting e-lytes and gbottomes, weaning from vents and IABP's, intubating, extubating, mediastinal CT's and external pacers, LAP's, PAWP's...whatever. So try doing PACU... very cushy job, no weekends, holidays and nights, well thats what i did 7 years ago.
